Get to know the medical and administration team at Cloister Road Surgery.
Our mission is to provide an excellent, high quality health experience for all our patients. Our team are fully trained and compliant with NHS confidentiality policies and all mandatory training. We regularly run in-house team based training to improve our service to our patient population.
We welcome your feedback. If you would like to comment about our surgery or staff, you can do so on the NHS website, or iWantGreatCare. This last website also allows you to comment about individual doctors, which can help them reflect on your experience.
Our GPs are part-time and work a dedicated number of sessions at the practice, offering continuity of care to our patients. Each GP can tend to have their own particular clinical interests, which can complement each other as a team. The GP Partner has more involvement in the management of the whole practice. We also have some Sessional GPs who do adhoc sessions at the practice.
You are welcomed to book with any GP of your choice, but this is subject to availability.
For more urgent problems, it is less likely that the practice can offer your choice of doctor at short-notice and you are more likely to have contact with the on-call GP at that time.

They are here to help you in making bookings, answering queries and directing you to the most appropriate service based on your medical needs. They cover a vast array of duties ranging from registrations, updating your contact details, medical summaries, insurance reports, document management and medical referrals.
Our pharmacists work together to ensure your repeat prescriptions are administered safely within our two working day rule and reviewed appropriately to support your on-going health needs.
